Not a very good start to our week; we had to have our dog Fuzzy Lu [link] put to sleep on Monday evening. She has been deteriorating for several weeks from a neuro-muscular disease like MS. She had lost most of the muscle from her rear and spine, had trouble walking and spent most of her last days laying near us panting. The vet said if she fell, she could fracture her spine and her pain would be horrible, so the humane thing to do was end her suffering.
We miss her very much and keep forgetting she isn't here and look for her in her usual spots. We have lost 3 pets in the last 3 years and now only have Meeko, [link] our cat, left with us. She's looking for Fuzzy too.
